Whether we are assisting a family in their house, someone responsible for a charity or a business, the software they use is what makes the investment in equipment valuable to them. We offer a wide range of application software to run on the equipment - some free, some chargeable. These applications include games, educational software, accounting, ecommerce, production and stock control, human resource management, project control and office applications.
Some software is used by just one person, some software achieves the required benefit by being connected to other users within the home or business or across the internet.
However the software is used we can help to ensure that it used safely, securely, efficiently and lawfully with respect to the latest regulations of data protection.
Gone are the days when anyone needed to spend lots of money on computing equipment; smartphones, tablets, laptops and mini-computers are all that is needed for individual, family and business use.
If the software and data needs to be shared then a server is usually required. In the past, the server was put in a cupboard of your house or business, now the best and most cost effective solution for your server needs is a rented box in a data-centre, somewhere in the UK.
We can research, propose, implement, manage and support your Cloud based servers. We advise and assist on registering domain names. We also offer hosting plans on our own managed dedicated servers. We help with management, keep you safe and secure, worry about backups, look after your email services and generally monitor your systems to keep them running.
Throughout the local area internet connectivity and speed is being improved. In some cases to fast gigabit fibre-optic connections. We advise and ensure that you are getting the best value for money that is available in your location.
With good quality internet in place, we advise on and implement the network infrastructure (wired or wireless) in your home or business premises.
The telecomms companies are currently scrapping old telephone lines and replacing them with telephone across the internet (VoIP). We have always worked with VoIP systems. We work with various providers, install digital phones and software phones, setup VoIP telephone exchanges in your premises or in the Cloud. We are Partners for 3CX.
This knowledge and expertise means we also know about smartphones and tablets and all the uses you can put them to for communications, like Teams, Zoom and WhatsApp.
Almost all knowledge or commerce now stems from or is conducted on-line, on the internet. It is essential for all those with information to impart, a message to deliver or services and products to sell, to have an excellent presentation on the internet.
That presence must be well designed, functional and be part of an overall strategy for marketing and sales. At Webcliq we help you achive all of those things.
We specialialise in interactive, database driven websites which means that they can be multi-lingual, publish your information, present and sell your products and services, work with various payment solutions including PayPal, Mollie and Sumup.
With the majority of internet users now using smartphones and tablets, we also ensure that all our website projects can be easily converted to Apple and Android Apps.
The Centre is not a retail computer or telephone shop nor does it specifically act as a repair shop. If you need help with purchasing new equipment, we can advise. If you have some apparently broken equipment, Staff can advise or help you make repairs to the equipment and systems for yourself.
However the Centre does recycle and refurbish equipment for resale on a commission basis. Bring us your old and unused equipment and we will help put it to good use.
Therefore the Centre has a limited range of second-hand and some new desk-top computers, laptops, tablets and phones for sale. On the other hand, it has an extensive range of useful accessories available. These are listed in the on-line shop for sales and collection from the Centre.
We'd love to hear from you
